📱 iOS developers have come out of their isolation for a bit 😄 Apple has officially begun to open the door to Android! 😮

Swift is the language in which we develop iOS applications. Now you are able to build Android apps too 🤖👀
Apple has announced the release of the Swift SDK for Android in its beta version. This means that you can experiment and build your applications in the same language that you used for iPhone applications 🔥
It is true that the version is not yet final nor officially approved. But it is a big step towards unified development between iOS and Android systems. Similar to what we saw earlier in Kotlin Multiplatform 💪
🚫 Important note: This project is not a fully cross-platform development; That is, you cannot yet write one code that works on both systems together. Xcode does not yet support running Android applications. So you still need Android Studio or VS Code.
But it is clear that Apple is paving the way for greater convergence between the two systems 👏 The future looks promising and exciting 🔥
❓Discussion question: Do you think that Apple is really moving towards supporting unified development between iOS and Android? 🤔 Or is it just a limited experimental step?
