User experience for AI is different. Users need to know they are talking to a bot and what that bot can (and cannot) do.

Design Principles:

  1. Feedback Loops: Let users rate answers (Thumbs up/down).
  2. Clarity: Use "AI is thinking..." animations.
  3. Safety: Include disclaimers about AI inaccuracies.

We'll look at examples of great AI UX from apps like Perplexity and ChatGPT.
