Scene Assembly & AI Video Templates

AI Reels Mastery: Creating Viral Videos for Free (Beginner Edition)

Lesson 6: Scene Assembly & AI Video Templates

This is where we bring the script, voice, and visuals together into a coherent timeline using CapCut.

6.1 The CapCut Timeline Foundation

  1. Import Assets: Load all generated images, downloaded B-roll, and background music into a new vertical (9:16 aspect ratio) project.
  2. Lay Down the Audio First: Place your AI-generated voiceover track (or the TTS layer) on the primary audio track. This sets the pace for the entire video.
  3. Visual Alignment: Drag the corresponding visual assets (images/clips) onto the video timeline directly above the moment they are mentioned in the audio.

Tip for Reels: Visual cuts should happen every 2-3 seconds max, especially in the hook, to maintain engagement.

6.2 Leveraging CapCut's AI Template Features

CapCut frequently updates its templates, many of which use AI to auto-sync visuals to music beats or dialogue rhythms.

Using Templates for Speed:

  1. Browse the CapCut interface for trending Templates.
  2. Select a vertical template that matches the tone (e.g., fast-paced, educational).
  3. Click 'Use Template' and upload your pre-made AI images and clips.
  4. The template will automatically arrange, add transitions, and sync the clips to music, giving you a nearly finished reel structure in seconds.

6.3 Refining Scene Transitions

Use simple, clean transitions between visuals (e.g., 'Fade' or 'Wipe'). Avoid overly complex or flashy transitions unless they are relevant to the content. Remember, simplicity in transitions keeps the viewer focused on the information.
