The Computational Basis
Just like a bit is 0 or 1, we define our standard 'basis' states as:
- $| 0 ̉$: The 'Ground' state.
- $| 1 ̉$: The 'Excited' state.
These are orthonormal vectors, meaning they are perfectly distinct from each other.
The Qubit: State $|0⟩$ and $|1⟩$
